Use The TOP Sites-The web holds 1000′s of free classified sites on the web, but only a percentage of them are worth your time. There are two things that you want to look for in a classified site.

Create Powerful Headlines- In reality, your headline will be the most important part of your entire ad. Why? Because unless it does its job, the rest of your ad cannot get its job done either. Use a benefit oriented approach, and immediately tell what problem you solve or what benefit you offer. Also, attempt to employ powerful, attention grabbing words and phrases.

Tell People What to Do- It seems so simple that it can often be overlooked, but a simple call to action has been proven time and again to lead to more of whatever action you are trying to get. In the case of classified advertisements, you are trying to get the readers of your advert to click on your link to visit your site. So, tell them to do exactly that. “Click the link for more FREE info!” is a simple example of a call to action that can get more people to actually click…. giving you free hits.

Have you ever purchased an item you did not really need, but purchased it anyway because the seller was so persuasive? Already know the answer: Of course!

But let me ask you this: How did you feel a few hours later? Were you still as excited as when you bought the thing? Did you wanted to purchase from that person again? Of course not!
Maybe you felt furious, dissapointed, scammed… Feel free to feel that way. Everyone is entitled to their feelings.
It is going to be different for your customers. Sell them worthless stuff and they will have negative emotions. The worse thing is, people will associate those feelings with YOU!

Have you noticed, while having a conversation or seeing something in a movie which had a negative charge to it, that you thought of something that happened in the past? You want to see the opposite with your customers.

WHAT ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS LOOKING FOR?

Who is the customer? Specify that first.
Decide if the product you are selling has any real value to them. When it doesn’t, don’t bother sending them material about that product, in a desperate attempt to change their mind.

If it is, service to them. Don’t sell, service to them. Provide info about the item, show how it can benefit them. Tell them about features you liked or didn’t like. Provide them testimonials from clients who purchased before.

THE OFFER

In the past I was told the core imperative of business is the offer.
When presensting the customer your offer, make it very clear what they are buying. And what the price is. Show them what’s in it for them. You should know what is in it for you, so just focus on the customer.

Why should anyone buy from you? Why is it better they get your product instead of something somebody else is selling? What frustrates folks and what solutions can you offer them?
Communicate all of this, be clear and sincere. It goes without saying, but make sure it is clear to you as well.

HAVE THEM PURCHASE FROM YOU MORE THAN ONCE

Your goal should be a win-win situation. You make a sale. Your customer is not only satisfied with his super product, but also thanks you for the provided service. This builds lasting relationships. I’mm guessing you would not mind if that customer visited you again after a week and bought something else, right?

Congratuate them and make them aware of what a good choice they made. Do not go overboard here, but do show you value their business. People make purchases based on emotion and then justify them with logic. It does not hurt to make them feel even better. It will convince them even more they did a good thing. And, like discussed before, they will associate YOU with those emotions.
